About this work
Before a group of trees, a shepherdess makes a shepherd, who is touching her dress, fall. In the center, a shepherd embraces a shepherdess whose dress is lifted high. To the right, a woman crowns the shepherdess and a man plays the bagpipes. At the bottom, in the margin, three two-line texts in French with references to the shepherd characters Phillis, Tircis, and Amarillis.
