About this work
Christ is baptized by John the Baptist, in the presence of two angels, in the Jordan. One of them points to the tetragram, the symbol of God the Father, which has appeared in the sky after Christ emerged from the water. God in the form of a dove descends upon him. Below the scene, a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Matt. 3:13.
