About this work

Christ is baptized by John the Baptist, in the presence of two angels, in the Jordan. One of them points to the tetragram - symbol of God the Father - that has appeared in the sky after Christ came up from the water. God in the form of a dove descends upon him. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Bible text in Matt. 3:13.
