About this work

Kneeling Mary and Christ look up at the tetragram in the sky. The scene is framed by a rosary border. In each corner, a medallion with scenes of souls, the sick, sinners, and prisoners praying to Mary. In the cartouche below, St. Bernard of Clairvaux kneels before Mary. Milk spurts from her breast onto the lips of the saint (Lactatio Bernardi). The print has a Latin title.
