About this work
Mary breastfeeds the Christ Child who sits on her lap. They are surrounded by singing angels. The image is framed by a border of beads. In each corner a medallion with scenes of Mary offering comfort to the needy. In the cartouche below, the faithful pray to Mary. The print has a Latin inscription above.
