About this work

Christ preaches to his disciples. He tells them: "If you ask anything in my name, I will no longer need to ask the Father on your behalf, for the Father himself loves you, because you love me and believe that I came from God." Letters stand next to various elements of the scene corresponding to the legend in the margin.
