View of the Zorgvliet house (Catshuis) in The Hague with a pond in the foreground. On the water's edge, the Swiss scientist Abraham Trembley (1710-1784) conducts research on freshwater polyps from the ponds with the sons of Willem Bentinck (1704-1774).
