Sigismund III Vasa of Poland sits on his throne with scepter and orb in his hands as a sign of his power. He is flanked by the personification of Poland, as Minerva (left) and Sweden (right). From the right comes an Ottoman woman who offers him a branch of peace. From the left comes a representative of the Holy Roman Empire who offers him the crown.
