About this work
The Christ Child, on Mary's lap, is adored by the three Wise Men from the East who have lined up before the Child with their gifts. In the background members of their retinue. One of them kneels before the Christ Child and receives his blessing. In the clouds cherubim and little angels. In the margin an inscription in Latin.
