About this work

Depiction with various saints and princes waiting to receive a rosary. In the center the Holy Spirit as a dove and Mary, with the Christ Child on her arm. They distribute rosaries. On the left side male saints kneeling in anticipation. On the right side various princes, among them Philip IV and Ferdinand of Austria. In the background angels rescue souls from purgatory. In the upper left and right male and female saints and angels, all holding a cartouche on which scenes from the life and passion of Christ are depicted. They also receive rosaries from angels from heaven. At the very top God the Father looks down from heaven. In the margin an inscription in Latin.
