About this work

The virgin Mary is visited by the angel Gabriel. He announces to her the birth of a son who will be called Christ. Above in the sky God the Father and the dove as a symbol of the Holy Spirit, surrounded by the angelic choirs. On both sides of the Annunciation representation three prophets of the Old Testament. Above on the left Adam, above on the right Eve. The print has a Latin inscription.
