About this work
Design of a round medallion with, in six concentric circles, the names of the Electors of Mainz and their years of reign, beginning with Archbishop Gerlach and ending with Anselm Francis of Ingelheim. In the center of the medallion a device with an arm holding a medallion. The motto of the device reads: "Germanie ledum costvis rigidusque satelles".
