About this work
Design of a round medallion with, in five concentric circles, the names of the Electors of Brandenburg and their years of reign, beginning with Louis I of Brandenburg and ending with Frederick William I. In the center of the medallion an emblem: on a cushion lie the regalia crown and scepter. Above it a dove with an olive branch in its beak. The motto of the emblem reads: "Adveniendo refert olivam".
