About this work

An angel and a putto drape a cloth over the representation of August II. Above them lie various weapons and helmets. In a representation on the right three persons can be seen, a man holds a laurel wreath while the other man looks up. The woman points to a text on a ribbon held by a putto. In the tympanum there is a fifteen-line inscription on the occasion of the promotion of Joannes Baptista a Pfeiffersberg.
