About this work
A widow kneels before Elisha to thank him for his help. After her husband's death, the woman was left with a debt, and the creditor wanted to make her two sons slaves. To prevent this, Elisha performed a miracle. At his command, the widow was able to fill an infinite number of jars with oil from a small jug. By selling the oil, she could pay off her debt and keep her sons. In the background, jars are being filled with oil.
