About this work
At the bottom, Adam and Eve are bound to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil with the serpent in it. Next to them are Moses, kings, priests, a soldier, and other figures. Above the tree, Mary with angels floats on a cloud. With her left foot she stands on a half-moon and tramples the serpent in the tree.
