About this work
Mountainous landscape with scattered groups of houses. In the foreground, the woman suffering from continuous bleeding kneels before Christ and touches the hem of his garment; she is thereby healed. Christ, accompanied by apostles, turns around and asks who touched him. In the center below, a biblical reference to Mark 5:25.
