Vice-Admiral De Weert received by the King of Batticaloa (Maticalo) on Ceylon, 30 April 1603. In the foreground a showman displays his skills. Part of the illustrations in the report of the first voyage to the East Indies for the VOC under Van Warwyck and De Weert in 1602, No. 4.
