Triumphal arch of the butchers with a depiction of Ferdinand as Hercules slaying a bull. At the top, a bust of Ferdinand between Apollo and Diana. Erected in front of the Vleeshuis. Plate no. 36 in a set of 42 plates illustrating the publication describing the entry of Cardinal-Infant Ferdinand of Austria into Ghent on 28 January 1635 as the new Governor-General of the Spanish Netherlands.
