Illustration marked A and B, from W. Stubbe, 'A Justification of the Present War against the United Netherlands', London 1672. The image shows three medals struck in the Netherlands in 1586 in gratitude for the support provided by Queen Elizabeth I during the Dutch Revolt. The prints were used by the English as propaganda to justify the war against the United Provinces.
