About this work
Eighth print in a series of eight depictions of the life of Johan and Cornelis de Witt. All prints are by Gaspar Bouttats and have a verse of four or two lines. In the depiction it can be seen how the citizens of The Hague destroy the graves of members of the De Witt family in the church, 1672.
