About this work

The bodies of the brothers Johan and Cornelis de Witt are dragged out of the Gevangenpoort and hanged on the gibbet, 20 August 1672. Three columns of text both below and to the right, with in the second part a dialogue between the Dutch Maiden and the Prince of Orange.
