About this work
Naval battle off Lowestoft (Lestoffe) between the English under the Duke of York and the Dutch under Wassenaer van Obdam, whose ship with 500 men flies into the air. The survivors flee and the English achieve victory. (13-15 June 1665). At the top left the English fleet, to the right in the distance Texel. Below the plate on the sheet a description of the sea battle in 3 columns.
