About this work

Allegory on the Roman Catholic worship. Centrally the interior of (probably) the church Our Lord on the Attic in Amsterdam, where Cesare Brancadoro, Archbishop of Nisibi, administers confirmation to the churchgoers, June 1792. Around this four scenes from the New Testament. On the outside left the seven sacraments, on the right the seven works of mercy. In the open dome Christ handing the keys to Peter.
