About this work
Round temple with a portrait of Menno Simons at the top, between the pilasters a representation of adult baptism among the Mennonites and four representations from the New Testament. With two medallions with representations of a meeting and the communion service. This plate placed by FM in 1536, the year Menno Simons leaves the Catholic church and becomes a preacher among the Anabaptists.
