About this work

Proclamation in the name of King William I, calling for the voluntary arming of citizens, 5 October 1830. In response to the armed uprising in the southern provinces. The sheet is printed on both sides. On the reverse, a call from the Crown Prince to the Belgians: 'We William, Prince of Orange-Nassau, to the Inhabitants of the Southern Provinces of this Kingdom'.
