About this work

Disturbances as the deputies of Dordrecht, the gentlemen Gevaerts and De Gijzelaar, drive their carriage through the Stadthouderspoort onto the Binnenhof, and their horses are seized by the Haarlem wig-maker F. Mourand, March 17, 1786. On the left, the posted militia; in the center, the advocate Van Nispen defends the carriage.
