About this work

The 'good' thief on the cross. Left foreground the soldiers gambling for the clothes of Christ. A rider and two bystanders watch. Right the spear-bearer (Longinus) on horseback. Background the three holy women on their way to the tomb of Christ. With a header of one line in Latin and in the margin a three-line inscription in Latin.
