About this work
The opening of the first four seals: the four apocalyptic riders, 'Victory', 'War', 'Famine' and 'Death' trample humanity. Above them an angel, with a crown. In the margin a four-line inscription in Latin. Fourth print from a series of twenty-four with the Revelation of John on Patmos.
