About this work

In the sky appears the sign of the woman in labor, crowned and with wings, in a halo. She is threatened by a seven-headed dragon. The child of the woman is taken away to God the Father. The archangel Michael engages the dragon in battle. In the margin a four-line inscription in Latin. Fourteenth print from a series of twenty-four with the Revelation of John on Patmos.
