About this work
An angel stands in the middle of the sun and calls to the birds. The heavenly army, led by a rider with a papal mitre and a sword in his mouth, fights against the earthly army. The beast perishes in a pool of fire. In the margin a four-line inscription in Latin. Twenty-first print from a series of twenty-four with the Revelation of John on Patmos.
