Crusaders kneeling before the emperor and the pope receive from them a blessing and a sword. In the background the conquest of the city of Damietta with a ship breaking the chain of the harbor, 1219. This print is part of a large print with a large map of Haarlem, surrounded by seven coats of arms, a profile of the city, views of notable Haarlem buildings, and depictions of important moments in Haarlem history.
