About this work
Emperor Maximilian I kneels in prayer before the Holy Sacrament on the altar and is healed again. On the ground the imperial crown and scepter. Print no. 10 from the series of 16 scenes of The Miracle of Amsterdam, based on the events of 15 March 1345. Copies after the series by Bolswert. Below the scene in the plate engraved a six-line verse in Latin, below that a six-line verse in book print in Dutch.
