About this work
A priest hears confession. Print no. 14 from the series of 16 scenes of The Miracle of Amsterdam, based on the events of 15 March 1345. Copies after the series by Bolswert. Below the scene in the plate is engraved a six-line verse in Latin, beneath which is a six-line verse in book type in Dutch.
