Nijmegen surrenders to the States army under Prince Maurice, 21 October 1591. Siege of the surrounded city and bombardments from Fort Knodsenburg. At the top the Waal. In the foreground the Spanish troops leave the city. With an inscription of 12 lines in German and 3 lines in French. Numbered in the lower left: 277. The print is part of an album.
