About this work
St. Augustine receives a vision. He wears the bishop's vestments and his mitre lies next to him, by a few books. Two angels support him. One of the angels points to the heaven. Augustine sees there the enthroned Christ, a tetragram and the Holy Spirit (a dove) and angels with various attributes. In the margin an inscription in Latin.
