Plate with two scenes. Above a landscape scene of the Raid on the Medway and the destruction of the English fleet on 20 June 1667 by the States fleet under Michiel Adriaenszoon de Ruyter. Below a scene of the capture of the island of Sheppey with the fort and magazine at Sheerness by the troops of Colonel Dolman. In the caption the legends for both plates 1-42 and a-o in Dutch.
