About this work

Victories with the arrival of William III. The unity of the Union is restored, the people stream into the temple. Right William III preceded by personifications of his office as stadtholder and Captain-General. Left the heroes who fought the Dutch victories over the enemy: De Ruyter, Tromp and Van Nes. Central the victory is allegorically depicted. Allegory on the political situation in the Republic in the year 1674. Numbered top right: 5.
