The Battle of the Zuiderzee, 11 October 1573. Naval battle in which the fleet of the Watergeuzen under the leadership of Cornelis Dirkszoon van Monnickendam defeats the Spanish fleet of Bossu. In the foreground skiffs and a sinking ship, behind them the larger ships. In the background the coastline from Hoorn to Enkhuizen. With caption of 1 line and the legend 1-26 in Dutch.
