Reproduction of the print with the negotiations between Liedekercke, Roeck, and Bourse and the German commanders regarding a ransom for the departure of the German garrison, 2 August 1577. Group of men standing in discussion, with the citadel in the background. In the clouds, the personification of God's punishment. Representation in a round medallion with an ornamental allegorical frame, with the seated female personifications of Liberality (Liberalitas) and Ingratitude (Ingratitudo) at the top. At the bottom, a cartouche with two verses of six lines each in French and Dutch.
