Battle of Gembloux, 31 January 1578. A battle in which the States army is defeated by the army of Farnese. In the distance on the left the city of Namur. In the foreground riders are crossing a body of water towards the battlefield. Bottom right a cartouche with the title and the legend A-T in French.
