About this work
Equestrian portrait of Philip IV, in armour. He wears a chain with the Order of the Golden Fleece. In his right hand he holds a marshal's baton. He stands under a triumphal arch. On the arch the portrait of Charles V, in armour and with a chain with the Order of the Golden Fleece. The portrait is set in an oval frame with a three-line inscription in Latin and is flanked by two lions. In the background a view of a city and a procession and below that a five-line inscription in French. In the margin a three-line inscription in Latin. Under the print a poem in French, in three columns, printed from a separate plate.
