About this work

The Dutch and English ships in line at the beginning of the naval battle at Dogger Bank on August 5, 1781, between the Dutch fleet under Rear-Admiral Johan Zoutman and the English fleet under Vice-Admiral Hyde Parker. In the legend the names of the frigates with the names of the captains and the number of guns per ship. Part of a series of four plates of the Naval Battle at Dogger Bank.
