About this work

Newspaper with a depiction of the siege by the Spaniards under Mendoza of Zaltbommel and other strongholds in the Bommelerwaard in the hands of the States army under Prince Maurice, early May - 4 June 1599. Also included is a map of the Bommelerwaard and an image of a so-called springer or fladder mine. Entirely with 6 columns of Dutch texts with a description of the course of the battle.
