About this work

The naval battle off the coast near Sluis where the eight Spanish galleys under Federico Spinola (who died in this battle) are defeated by the States fleet of three ships and two galleys under Joos de Moor, 26 May 1603. In the distance at the top, the coast of the Western Scheldt with the cities of Breskens, Schoondijke, Oostburg, Sluis, Knokke and Damme. Without the legend.
