Allegory on the Arrest of the Conspirators Against Maurice, 1623. In the Dutch Garden stand the captured, chained conspirators. To the left, Rhetoric crowns Justice; to the right, a procession of Love and Hope followed by the nine Muses. Orpheus plays a cello, the Dutch Lion waits by the gate. In the sky, Fame; from the water, Triton blows his horn. Below the plate, three columns of text in Dutch.
