Monument for the Nassau War, 1625. Monument with representations divided into four acts numbered A-P of episodes from the beginning of the Dutch Revolt with main roles for William of Orange, Maurice and Frederick Henry and the Spanish governors. In the lower layer Maurice on his deathbed with Fame and representatives of the continents, the Dutch Maiden in the Dutch Garden and members of the States-General at Frederick Henry on the throne. At the bottom the funeral procession of Prince Maurice in Delft on 16 September 1625. The procession winds in three rows towards the entrance of the New Church. A text sheet belongs to the plate.
