About this work

Center sheet of the map of the siege of the fort Schenckenschans, which was taken by surprise by the Spaniards on 28 July 1635, by the States' army under Frederick Henry, from 30 July 1635. Map of the river area with Schenckenschans at the junction of the Rhine and Waal. Center sheet in an unmounted whole consisting of three plates and two text sheets.
