Satirical print on the loss of Schenckenschans to the States' army under Frederick Henry on 29 April 1636. The Cardinal-Infant, resting after a ride of 7 months on a raging bull, is rescued from the fort Schenckenschans by Count Willem of Nassau (Willem Frederik?). He is consoled by the Pope, the King of Spain and the Emperor. In the background Frederick Henry and the French King are riding in the triumphal chariot of Minerva in the clouds.
