The return of the fleet of Johan Maurits to the Netherlands, May–August 1644. A winged scroll in the sky bearing the title, the coat of arms of Johan Maurits, and two smoke horns. The legend explains the letters A-N in Latin. Plate [no. 54] in a series of 55 depictions of the journey to and the stay in Brazil of Count Johan Maurits of Nassau in the years 1636-1644.
